Happy Earth Day! The Unhealthy Truth!
Ever wonder what the food industry is putting in our foods? Curious about all the hype about "Organic" foods? Wonder what it all means? If you ask yourself these questions then you will definitely want to watch the video below. It will not only open your eyes about the foods we eat but how it is harming us, our children and even our pets.
Organics (and more) explained....
Organic - Organic produce is grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. Organic meat and dairy livestock receive no antibiotics or added hormones and are raised on organic feed. Organic products never use genetic engineering or irradation.
Organic Farming promotes healthy soil, biodiversity and the conservation of water and ecological systems. It helps keep chemicals out of our air, earth and water. And organic farmers focus on using renewable resources.
All Natural - Food that are minimally processed and contain no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.
Earth-Friendly - Produced in such a way to minimize any negative impact on the environment. Good examples of earth-friendly products are those that are biodegradable, chemical-free or made of recycled post-consumer waste.
Vegetarian - Foods derived from plant sources, such as fruits, grains, legumes and nuts. These can contain egg and dairy products.
Vegan - Solely from plant origin; absolutely no animal ingredients or byproducts such as eggs, dairy products or honey.

Want to save money?
I love to shop online. I also love finding great coupon/promo codes to save a little money or get free shipping. Who doesn't? If any of you have looked for online coupon codes you know how frustrating it can be. With most sites the coupon codes don't work or they have expired.
I found a great website that has "valid" online coupon/promo codes and in store coupons as well. The website is eDealinfo. To find great online coupon codes just click the "coupon" tab on their website or click here. Then click the letter to the right of the website that corresponds with the first letter of the merchant (i.e. - click the letter "B" for Barnes and Noble). It will direct you to a page that lists all merchants in their database system that starts with that letter.
If you don't see your merchant in the list then they don't offer their coupons. However, they have a TON of merchants in their system.
Happy Shopping! :-)
